A classic 1940s Emery Roth residential building is swept clean of ill-conceived alterations and revived with sympathetic materials, new furnishings, and new lighting.

The canopy’s original copper cladding was uncovered and refinished. New, patterened marble floors are continued from the central lobby. Heavy wooden furniture has been replaced by pieces expressive of the building’s blend of Deco and Classical elements.
