Anthony Johnson


A gifted architect, Anthony Johnson has a talent for adapting heritage buildings to modern life. His work accentuates the strengths of older architecture while sensitively integrating contemporary features that make a building more functional and attractive. Anthony is a creative and pragmatic thinker who solves challenging design problems to unlock a building’s full real estate potential at all levels. He is skilled at navigating local landmark and building regulations, capturing rentable space, and burnishing a property’s appeal. As the founder of Anthony Johnson Architect LLC and its predecessor firm, Rosen Johnson Architects, Anthony has worked extensively in New York City, as well as the Hamptons, Washington DC, New Jersey, Toronto and Ottawa. He is proud to serve some of the largest building owners on the East Coast.

Anthony is a native New Yorker and has a passion for projects that better the lives of New York City and its residents by partnering with nonprofit organizations. He is currently working on a significant renovation of the Bronx High School of Science and the renovation and expansion of a church in the East Village.
